Jetzt geht's los!!
This week starts the beginning of my new venture in life...going "back" to school. Though I may seem to have everything figured out with a great career in the military, I feel my heart is directing my soul back to my early goals of business ownership as a veterinarian.
I'm excited to start an introduction to entrepreneurship course that, I hope, will rekindle desires of my heart and put away the fears that I have of the risks that comes with personal business pursuit.
A talk given by Pres. Gordon B. Hinckley at the BYU-I dedication ceremony in October 2002, touched me this week. At that time, I was in the Provo, UT Missionary Training Center, preparing to serve in the Munch/Germany Austria Mission. This makes perfect sense. First, Gordon B. Hinckley is "my" prophet. I grew up with him and dearly miss him. He is the prophet of my youth. Second, what he stated in his talk about our generation and our potential, I feel was beginning for me at the MTC. My goals and dreams were in their infancy at that point in my life. The most important result of two years of missionary service was a strong personal relationship with my Heavenly Father, a firm and unshakable testimony of the Atonement of Jesus Christ, and an understanding that through His Atonement I could achieve any righteous desire of my heart.
From then on, my life has been guided to this point. I have been blessed beyond imagine. I look forward to planning the next adventure of life.
